Grandmaster Dr. Al Catron Ph.D.

Grandmaster Al Catron began his martial arts career in Germany in 1956 studying Taekwondo.

In 1973 he studied Shaolin-Do under the instruction of Grandmaster Sin The' in Lexington Kentucky.

In the early 1980's Grandmaster Catron and Grandmaster Day founded Long Gin Shi while studying Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan under the direction
of Grandmaster Don Madden.

In 1988 he founded Ryu Toushi a blended martial arts consisting of Shaolin Do, Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan, and Shotokan.

He continues to study and teach tai chi, Qigong, and Kyusho.

Grandmaster Catron was inducted into the EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2001 in which he holds many awards.

Grandmaster Catron has been a member of the Black Dragon Fighting Society for many years.

He currently holds black belts in several martial arts: Shaolin-Do, Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan, and Shotokan.

He is the Soke Grandmaster of Ryu Toushi.
